Please check you have a SafeTag Mag First Gen before proceeding. You can tell by the small, plastic, detachable cover over the charging port and the round vibration sensor protruding from the magnetic side of the device. If you have a Second Gen Mag, please use this article: My SafeTag Mag 2nd Gen says "Awaiting Connection". The SafeTag Mag 1st Gen looks like this:

This means your tracker hasn't booted yet or is experiencing network issues.
- Ensure the vibration sensor on the back of the tracker is in the outward position(i.e, not pressed in.
- Firmly pop out the SIM and then firmly push it back in.
