My SafeTag Volt is "Awaiting Connection"

Firstly, please make sure you have followed all steps in your product setup and activation guide carefully.


This means your tracker hasn't booted up yet, or it is unable to establish a network connection.


Could you please follow the following steps?

1. Please confirm that the device has power by checking the U-clips are securely attached to the correct battery terminals. The red wire should be attached to the positive terminal and the black wire should be attached to the negative terminal.

You can check your installation is correct by comparing it the installation video below;

2. Please ensure that the device is in an open space, moving the device may yield better results.


3. Please ensure that you are in an area where there is 4G or 2G signal, so that the device can establish a network connection.
