The reason for this is due to the advertised 40 second location interval rates for our rechargeable models.
What is displayed on the screen is simply straight lines driven between the coordinates taken at each interval, not your precise route.
If your tracker uploads a location, then you go round a corner, and then the tracker uploads another location 30 seconds later, it will appear to have "jumped."
It does this at this interval to save battery and prolong life. If it is displayed at a shorter interval not much more information is really ascertainable and it would constantly need recharging.
So sorry about this. Unfortunately this is the nature of our general purpose GPS trackers.
